Job summary

Parish CE Primary School is seeking a maintenance assistant to support the Site Manager in keeping the school site safe, clean, and well-ordered. The role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs under direction, assisting with porterage and lettings duties, and helping ensure health and safety and COSHH compliance.

Additionally, you will act as a keyholder responsible for school security, daily lock-up, and cover arrangements.

• Assist the Site Manager to keep the school site safe, clean and orderly.
• Undertake maintenance and repairs under the Site Manager's direction, ensuring timely completion.
• Support site management tasks, including porterage and lettings duties.
• Assist to ensure Health and Safety and COSHH procedures are followed.
• Act as a keyholder responsible for school security, daily lock up and cover.
