Job summary

Pinnacle Group is recruiting a Lunchtime Catering Assistant to support our on-site catering team at East Ardsley Primary School, WF3. The role is term-time-only (11.25 hours/week) and designed to ensure efficient, hygienic food service in a school environment.

You will assist with food preparation, service, and kitchen cleanliness while upholding food safety standards. DBS checks and safeguarding references apply.

Qualifications

• Catering experience is preferred, and Level 2 Food Safety is an advantage.
• You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team.
• Knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene, Natasha's Law, Benedict's Law, Health & Safety and COSHH compliance.
• This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to meet the child safeguarding regulations, plus satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and maintain the food and beverage service areas attractively and hygienically.
• To assist in everyday food preparation and cooking in the kitchen as and when required.
• Serve all food & drinks to the highest standard using the correct tools and presentation techniques.
• Clean and wash up all equipment, kitchen, and service areas to comply with cleaning schedules.
