Job summary

Pinnacle Group is recruiting a Lunchtime Catering Assistant to support our on-site catering operations at East Ardsley Primary School. This term-time role runs 11.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:15 am to 1:30 pm, helping to prepare meals, serve in the dining area, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety.

You'll join our Total FM on-site catering team, work in a busy school environment, and contribute to delivering a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Catering experience is preferred, and Level 2 Food Safety is an advantage.
• You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team.
• Knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene and DBS checks.
• DBS check to meet child safeguarding regulations and references may be required.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and maintain the food and beverage service areas attractively and hygienically.
• To assist in everyday food preparation and cooking in the kitchen as and when required.
• Serve all food & drinks to the highest standard using the correct tools and presentation techniques.
• Clean and wash up all equipment, kitchen, and service areas to comply with cleaning schedules.

Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit a Lunchtime Catering Assistant to support our catering operations in a primary school kitchen. You will be joining our Total FM on-site Catering Team based at East Ardsley Primary School, WF3.

Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

You will need to be reliable, efficient, and have a passion for providing excellent service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in catering, we would love to hear from you.

This is a term-time-only permanent role of 11 ¼ hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 11.15 am – 1.30 pm.
