Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant in Derby to join our school catering team. You will support the kitchen with basic food preparation and provide excellent front-line service to pupils and staff during the lunchtime rush.

You should be a team player with catering or fast-paced service experience and a basic understanding of health and safety practices. Training is provided, with DBS disclosure as part of safeguarding requirements for working with children.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Willing to train in Food Hygiene Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Handle tills during service.
• Provide friendly, front-line service to students and staff.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
