Job summary

Pinnacle Group is recruiting a Lunchtime Catering Assistant to support our on-site catering team at East Ardsley Primary School. The role is term-time only, 11 ¼ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:15 am to 1:30 pm, and involves food preparation, serving meals, and keeping kitchens clean while upholding food safety standards.

Experience in catering is preferred; Level 2 Food Safety is an advantage. A DBS check is required, and flexibility to work as part of a multi-service team is essential.

Qualifications

• Catering experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic Food Hygiene and food safety principles advantageous.
• Ability to work in a multi-service team and stay reliable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain food and beverage service areas hygienically.
• Assist in everyday food preparation and cooking as needed.
• Serve food and drinks to a high standard using correct tools and presentation.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean in line with schedules.
