Job summary

Wavenet, a managed services provider, is seeking a School Technician to deliver on‑site and remote IT support for educational environments. You will ensure smooth operation of school technology systems, diagnose and repair devices, and maintain documentation and inventory.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, problem‑solving abilities, and experience with Microsoft 365/Azure, Google Classroom, and Windows Server.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Azure, Gmail / G‑Suite, and Google Classroom.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper‑V / VMware, Veeam, and Intune.
• Networking fundamentals: LAN, WAN, switches, DHCP, DNS.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled and unscheduled site visits to provide hands‑on IT support.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, AV equipment, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and educational software.
• Deploy and re‑image hardware, set up printers, and manage print accounts.
