Job summary

Ark Schools seeks a Junior Onsite IT Technician to join the IT Team, delivering reliable support across Ark’s schools. You will handle incidents, contribute to SLAs, and work with onsite and senior technicians to build skills within a cluster-based model.

You’ll support core platforms like Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, diagnose a range of device issues, and assist with AV and classroom tech while maintaining professional service across sites.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and exposure to school or multi-site environments is desirable.
• ITIL 5 Foundation qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience supporting IT across Windows, macOS and ChromeOS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and device management tools.
• Experience using an IT service management system and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assess, log, categorise and prioritise incidents using the ITSM system.
• Manage tickets in line with SLAs, keeping users informed throughout.
• Provide onsite IT support across multiple Ark schools and locations.
• Help with device rollouts, system upgrades and infrastructure changes.
• Maintain asset registers and support delivery of IT projects.
