Job summary

Wavenet is seeking a School Technician to provide on-site and remote IT support for schools. You will diagnose and repair desktops, manage operating systems, and ensure cybersecurity practices are up to date.

You’ll deploy hardware, configure networks, and support classroom technology including AV and printing services. Ideal candidates have strong experience with Microsoft 365, Google Classroom, Windows Server, AD, and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting schools with IT services and on-site/remote support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/Azure, Google Workspace, and classroom tools.
• Proficient in Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, and virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled and unscheduled site visits to provide hands-on IT support.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, AV equipment, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and educational software.
• Deploy and re-image hardware and manage print accounts.
• Configure LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and networking equipment; manage user accounts.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and inventory; support IT projects.
