Job summary

RM Education is seeking an IT Support Engineer to be the customer face on-site at a school, delivering first-class technical and user support. You will work with the service desk to provide managed IT services and ensure issues are resolved efficiently for teaching staff and learners.

The role requires diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems, supporting Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and maintaining devices.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer focus, problem solving and time management skills.
• Excellent communication both verbally and written.
• Able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues and know when to escalate.
• Understanding of ITIL methodology and service desk ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• To be the customer face of RM, ensuring our customers receive great service.
• To assist the service desk with the delivery of the IT managed support service.
• Provide school-based users with technical assistance and report service issues per the service desk policies.
