Job summary

Enfield Independent School is seeking a capable School IT Technician to support its digital infrastructure, classroom technology and administrative systems. The role focuses on user support, equipment setup and ensuring reliable IT services across staff and pupils.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, maintain printers and displays, assist during lessons, and help safeguard data security and proper use of systems. Start date is ASAP, with a full-time permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in IT support, technical assistance or a similar role.
• Good understanding of computer hardware and Windows systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and basic networking is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to prioritise support requests.
• Experience in a school environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to staff, pupils and other users.
• Diagnose hardware and software problems and resolve routine issues.
• Assist with setting up computers and preparing devices for new staff.
• Maintain printers, interactive displays, projectors and classroom technology.
• Help ensure data security and appropriate use of school systems.
• Record IT requests and maintenance tasks and assist with account administration.
