Job summary

1 Tech Staffing Ltd is seeking a Junior ICT Technician to join a busy MSP serving Oxford and surrounding areas. The role supports IT in schools and education environments, taking ownership of technical issues and delivering reliable solutions.

You will help keep systems running smoothly while assisting staff and students, maintaining hardware and applications, and enhancing ICT provision across the network to create an effective learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT in school or MSP environments.
• Able to take ownership of technical issues and deliver reliable solutions.
• Maintains hardware and applications to support effective learning environments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive 1st line IT support to staff and students.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, projectors, AV equipment and more.
• Install, configure and upgrade hardware and software across the school network.
• Support and maintain core systems, with focus on Microsoft 365 and education apps.
• Work with stakeholders to identify ICT improvements and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users.
