Job summary

Hireful Ltd is seeking a Network Manager / Senior ICT Technician to lead the school IT network in Oxford. You will oversee installation, maintenance, availability and security of the curriculum and administrative ICT infrastructure, including hardware and software.

The role offers progression to IT Manager, with a base salary £33k-£41k DOE and benefits after joining. Experience in schools and 2nd/3rd line support is essential.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have experience working in a school/education environment.
• You’ll have knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments and backups.
• Above all, you’ll be friendly and versatile with the ability to communicate on all levels.
• We’re looking for specific technical experience with Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V and cloud technologies such as Office 365/Azure.
• Ideally experience of upgrading a school IT System

Responsibilities

• Oversee management, installation, maintenance, availability and security of the school ICT network.
• Manage the school ICT support contract and provide technical support.
• Provide emergency cover for ICT issues as they arise.
