Job summary

Hireful Ltd is seeking a Network Manager / Senior ICT Technician to lead the school IT network in Oxford. You will oversee installation, maintenance, availability and security of the curriculum and administrative ICT infrastructure, including hardware and software.

The role offers progression to IT Manager, with a base salary £33k-£41k DOE and benefits after joining. Experience in schools and 2nd/3rd line support is essential.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have experience working in a school/education environment.
• You’ll have knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments and backups.
• Above all, you’ll be friendly and versatile with the ability to communicate on all levels.
• We’re looking for specific technical experience with Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V and cloud technologies such as Office 365/Azure.
• Ideally experience of upgrading a school IT System

Are you a Network Manager, Senior IT Technician or Senior ICT Technician individual working within schools? Are you looking to take the next step in your career into an IT Manager position? You will be working within a school and will be responsible for overseeing the management, installation, maintenance, availability and security of the curriculum and administrative ICT network, including the hardware and software infrastructure of the school’s ICT network.

Salary: £33k - £41k base salary DOE plus great benefits

Location: Oxford & Abingdon

You will be responsible for managing the school ICT support contract, technical support, emergency cover etc.

You will be able to demonstrate your background as a Senior ICT Technician / IT Manager or Network Maager within schools and will need a good working knowledge of maintaining ICT hardware and software as well as working knowledge of maintaining networks.
