Job summary

Transforming Learning Group Ltd is seeking a Junior ICT Consultant to support schools around Oxford, driving between locations with a car and licence. You will maintain IT hardware, install software, and provide frontline technical support to enable effective teaching through ICT.

The role requires at least 2 years in ICT technician or 2nd line support, preferably in education. A customer-focused, proactive approach and strong communication are essential for success, with a salary ranging

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in ICT Technician/2nd line support, preferably in education.
• Own car and driving licence required to visit schools around Oxfordshire.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills; ability to explain tech in layman’s terms.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and manage technical issues impacting school ICT operations with robust solutions.
• Install/repair computers with standardised applications and networking software; diagnose and fix problems.
• Support desktop services and network equipment across school sites; assist with user training and IT provisioning.
