Capita plc is seeking a motivated ICT Support Technician to deliver high-quality support for schools and academies within the Stafford region. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, assisting with Microsoft 365, Windows servers, AD/PowerShell, and cloud services, while meeting SLAs and ensuring secure, reliable environments.

The role involves onsite visits, incident management, and collaboration with school staff and internal teams.

Formación

• Proven experience in a customer-facing ICT support role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across ICT technologies.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online/SharePoint/Teams/Entra ID).
• Experience supporting Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and automation tools.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows desktop OS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Hyper‑V/VMware and backup solutions.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Security clearance (DBS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality ICT support to schools in line with SLA commitments.
• Provide technical advice across educational environments and Staffordshire.
• Conduct onsite visits to customer sites.
• Manage incidents and requests from initiation to resolution.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the process.
• Support and troubleshoot ICT equipment, servers, networks, and cloud services.
• Assist with ICT audits, planning and refresh programmes.
• Align customer environments with DF E guidelines.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and site records.
• Collaborate with internal support teams for smooth service delivery.
