Job summary

Proactive Appointments Ltd. is seeking an IT Technician for a fully onsite role in a well‑established educational environment. You will join a busy IT team and support staff and students, ensuring secure, reliable technology services and infrastructure.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage 365 services, AD, Teams, SharePoint and device deployment, while maintaining documentation and staying current with education sector tech advances. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior IT Technician or similar IT Support role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint administration.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• VMware virtualization experience.
• Good understanding of Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.
• Awareness of cyber security and data protection best practices.
• Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data protection, cyber security and safeguarding compliance.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and user guides.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies in the education sector.
