Job summary

Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School in Edgeley, Stockport, invites applications for a School Site Supervisor. The role is full-time (37 hours), on a split shift basis, year-round, with a starting salary of £26,427 and 25 days’ paid holiday during school holidays.

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure site, carrying out building and grounds maintenance, DIY tasks, and liaising with children, parents, staff, visitors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in school caretaking or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Good communication with staff, parents, visitors and contractors.
• DIY skills with safety awareness and basic trades knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school premises to ensure safety and security.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance, cleaning and general upkeep.
• Open/close school for lettings in the evening when required.
• Interact professionally with children, staff, parents, visitors and contractors and address health and safety issues.
