Job summary

Stockport Council, on behalf of Our Lady's Catholic Primary School, invites applications for a School Site Supervisor. The role involves building and grounds maintenance, security and cleaning to keep the school safe and well-presented.

The post is full-time (37 hours), with a split shift and full-year duties. Starting salary is £26,427 plus 25 days holiday. The successful candidate will be reliable, have DIY skills, health and safety awareness and good communication with staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• Reliable and resourceful with a good range of maintenance skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with children, parents, staff, visitors and contractors.
• Awareness of health and safety issues and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, safe and secure school premises and grounds.
• Carry out building maintenance, cleaning and security duties.
• Open/close school for lettings in the evening when required.
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and contractors.
