Job summary

Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School in Stockport is seeking a School Site Supervisor to help maintain a safe, well‑ordered environment for pupils and staff. The role is full‑time, 37 hours per week on a split shift basis, and runs all year.

The successful candidate will have DIY, building and grounds maintenance skills, a good awareness of health and safety, and the ability to interact professionally with children, parents, staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• Reliable and resourceful with a proactive approach.
• Able to interact professionally with children, parents, staff and contractors.
• Willing to open/close the school for lettings when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is well maintained, safe and secure.
• Handle building and grounds maintenance, general DIY, security and cleaning.
• Coordinate with staff and visitors; support health and safety practices.
• Open/close the school for lettings in the evening when required.
