Job summary

Qualifications

• Caretaking, site management or facilities role experience.
• Practical DIY and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems.
• Experience working effectively as part of a team.
• Confident communication with staff, pupils, parents, contractors and visitors.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to undertake manual handling and move furniture safely.
• Basic IT skills: creating/responding to emails and online searches for contractors/equipment.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming environment for all members of the school community.
