Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor for a primary school in LS17, Leeds. This part-time position covers term-time with additional hours as required.

You will oversee safe, clean, and secure school premises, manage site access, and support deliveries and logistics. The ideal candidate has basic DIY skills, understands health and safety, and can work independently while safeguarding children.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or site supervision.
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school site.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds.
• Conducting regular health and safety checks.
• Monitoring contractors and visitors on site.
• Supporting with deliveries and site logistics.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the school grounds.
• Reporting and escalating maintenance issues where appropriate.
• Assisting with emergency procedures and site inspections.
