Qualifications

• Experience as School Site Manager, School Caretaker or Premises Manager.
• Ability to oversee safety, security and day-to-day maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the school site each day.
• Carry out regular health & safety and site checks.
• Undertake general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain buildings, classrooms, playgrounds, grounds and facilities.
• Identify and report hazards and maintenance issues.
• Support fire safety and emergency procedures.
• Liaise with and oversee contractors.
• Maintain maintenance and safety records.
• Manage basic facilities, equipment, supplies and waste.
• Prepare rooms for school events.
• Ensure the school remains safe, secure, clean and well presented.
