A local authority in the UK is seeking a School Crossing Patrol Officer for Ivy Chimneys Primary School. This part-time role involves ensuring the safety of pedestrians at designated crossing points during school hours. The successful candidate must be punctual, reliable, and enjoy engaging with the public. Training and equipment will be provided. This position requires working approximately 7.5 hours a week during the academic year, monitoring traffic around school gates for the safety of students.
School Crossing Patrol Officer – Ivy Chimneys Primary School
Permanent, Part Time – £13.00 per hour – Location: Epping – Working Style: Operational field-based worker
Support schools once in the morning and once in the afternoon, ensuring the safety of all pedestrians crossing the road to and from school and its surrounding locations.
We are looking for a punctual and reliable individual, who is approachable and enjoys engaging with the public.
This position is for 7.5 hours per week approximately, with a holiday pay element included. You will need to be available to work during the 39 weeks of the academic year, for 45 minutes between 08:00 - 09:00 in the morning and 45 minutes between 14:45 - 15:45 in the afternoon approximately, depending on individual site requirements. Uniform, equipment, and training will be provided.
