Job summary

Cockermouth School is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to join our cleaning team, ensuring classrooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy after school hours. The role offers flexible hours up to 17 per week and benefits including on-the-job training and a pension.

Weekly hours are 15:45–19:15, with Fridays finishing at 18:45; the post includes safeguarding commitments with enhanced DBS checks as part of our safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

SCHOOL CLEANER

Part Time (up to 17 hours per week)

Join our fantastic cleaning team; supporting the school’s students and staff by ensuring their learning setting is clean and tidy. Really great team working, convenient hours and on-the-job training with competitive terms (including pension). Contracts for a minimum of 10.5 hours to a maximum of 17 hours per week available. Working hours are 15:45 until 19:15 (18:45 on Fridays). Ideal for a second job or if you want to top up your income.
