Unity Schools Partnership is seeking a conscientious Cleaner for a part-time role in Haverhill. The position involves cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and other areas to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Contract: Permanent, Part Time, 10 hours per week, 43 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious, and dedicated Cleaner to join our hardworking and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes genuine pride in their work and understands the important role that a clean, safe, and welcoming environment plays in supporting the wellbeing and success of our pupils, staff, and visitors. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the school site, helping to ensure that high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
The role is varied and will involve cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, communal areas, staff facilities, and other areas of the school as required. You will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and helping to create an environment in which everyone can thrive.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for detail. You will be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to completing tasks to a consistently high standard. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are also important, as is a willingness to follow cleaning schedules, health and safety procedures, and site-specific requirements.
Full training, guidance, and support will be provided for any work undertaken at this location, ensuring you feel confident and well-equipped in all aspects of the role. Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous; however, it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
