Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 21.25 hours per week. You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly, deliver exceptional food experiences, and support teams while upholding health, safety and brand standards across sites.

This role is subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure; it runs for 43.8 weeks per

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience supervising teams in a catering environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining brand image.
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams to excel in their roles.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across teams.
