Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, via Chartwells, seeks an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 28 hours per week and 43.6 weeks per year. You will ensure kitchens and counters run smoothly and help deliver exceptional food experiences in education settings.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of catering experience, team leadership, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, plus strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience supervising culinary and catering teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Holder of a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
