Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor for its education catering operations. The role is part-time at 22.5 hours per week, contracted to 43.8 weeks per year, overseeing kitchens and service counters to deliver exceptional food experiences.

You will lead culinary and catering teams, monitor KPIs, communicate with your line manager, and uphold health and safety standards while representing the Compass Group brand with pride.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Experience supervising teams in a catering environment.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
