Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). Based in education settings, you will lead kitchens and service counters to deliver exceptional food experiences and outstanding customer service.

With at least two years of catering experience and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, you will mentor teams, monitor KPIs, and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train our teams, leading from the front to enable everyone to excel.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
