Job summary

Compass Group PLC's Chartwells division is seeking a Catering Supervisor on a part-time basis (25 hours/week) to support operations across UK education sites. You will supervise catering teams, ensure food quality and service standards, and uphold Health & Safety policies while engaging with customers and line managers.

The role runs 43.8 weeks per year and requires two years' catering experience and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to deliver great food and service.
• Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and motivate teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all teams.
