Aspens Services Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our school catering team. You will support basic food preparation and serve during the lunch service, helping to deliver friendly, efficient service to students and staff.

You will work Monday to Friday during school terms, approx. 20 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with training provided. The role offers £12.71 per hour and opportunities for apprenticeship and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Operate tills during service.
• Provide friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and health & safety standards.
