Job summary

Brookeborough Primary School in Fermanagh (Enniskillen area) is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to support daily catering operations. You will be involved in basic food prep, serving meals, keeping the dining area clean, and helping promote meals to pupils and parents.

The role is permanent, 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a retainer during school holidays. Training and development opportunities are provided to support professional growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Basic preparation of food and beverages, including vegetables and snacks.
• Simple cooking and reconstitution of prepared food.
• Organising and controlling food service points.
• Transferring and serving meals and snacks.
• Assisting with promotion of meals to pupils, parents and staff.
• Maintaining dining area and liaising with central kitchen as needed.
• Setting dining area tables and serving points.
• General kitchen and dining room duties including washing up and clearing away.
