Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a well-established secondary school in Warwickshire in their search for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker. This is a full-time, permanent role starting as soon as possible.

You will maintain a safe, secure and well-presented site and work closely with the site team and senior leadership to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school, creating a positive environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous caretaker, site assistant, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and health & safety.
• Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and well-presented school site.
• Work with site team and senior leadership to support smooth operation.
• Ensure premises are safe, secure, clean, and well maintained.
• Support day-to-day running of a busy school environment.
