Job description

Overview

My client is looking for a Caretaker to work at a School around the Newton-le-Willows area. This is a Full-time Temporary Position to start ASAP initially until the end of October 2025, with potential to extend or become permanent for the right person.

Hours

They work on a 3-week shift pattern, you will be expected to work the following hours:

• Week A: 6am-2pm
• Week B: 8.30am-4.30pm
• Week C: 11am-7pm

YOU MUST Hold a Current Enhanced DBS to be considered for this position

Responsibilities and Experience

The role will involve:

• Previous experience working as a School Caretaker
• Be honest, reliable, hardworking and flexible
• Hold a valid driving licence
• Be able to work using your own initiative
• Have good DIY and premises skills is beneficial
• Be committed to achieving high standards in your work
• Have a good understanding of HSE
• Be willing to attend courses to develop your expertise
• Be able to deal with staff, pupils and the public in an efficient and friendly manner
• The use of your own vehicle is necessary as you will be expected to travel to different sites to support activities.
