School-Home Support is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to be based at the school. You will deliver targeted casework to improve attendance, punctuality and engagement, working closely with school staff to support children and families in an inclusive setting.

Join a committed team and contribute to safeguarding processes while building strong relationships with pupils, parents and school partners to promote positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship-building and communication with a wide audience.
• Experience in education or similar settings to improve attendance and engagement.
• Ability to work with families from diverse communities and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a programme of casework to promote and improve educational outcomes.
• Support attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning alongside school staff.
• Engage with families, carers and children through individual and group support.
• Follow safeguarding processes and refer where appropriate.
