School-Home Support is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to work at a school-based setting. You will deliver casework to promote educational outcomes, focus on improving attendance and engagement, and collaborate closely with school staff to support children and families.

Based at the school, you will engage with parents and carers, provide group and individual support, and contribute to safeguarding processes while helping children to learn and thrive in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in education setting to improve attendance and engagement
• Engaging with parents/carers and children through individual and/or group support
• Understanding factors affecting a child's ability to learn
• Experience working with families from diverse communities
• Holistic family support approach
• Knowledge of safeguarding processes and referral routes

Responsabilités
