School-Home Support is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to work on-site at a Blackpool school, delivering casework to promote educational outcomes and to improve attendance and learning engagement.

You will build strong relationships with school staff, parents and children, drawing on safeguarding knowledge and experience in education settings. The role is permanent, term-time only plus inset days, 2.5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience working in education settings to improve attendance and engagement.
• Excellent communication with parents, carers, children and staff.
• Understanding safeguarding processes and referral routes.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a programme of casework to promote educational outcomes for children and families.
• Focus on improving attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning.
• Work in close partnership with school staff to support students.
• Engage with families from diverse communities to provide holistic support.
