Job summary

Tai Pawb in Newport is seeking a part-time Scheme Support Officer for Clifton Place, a short-term supported accommodation service. The role requires flexibility to cover days, evenings, weekends and waking nights to support a diverse group of customers.

You will work with a team to provide housing related support, enabling people to live as independently as possible, through workshops, health and safety checks, and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with diverse clients in challenging situations.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts across days, evenings, weekends and waking nights.
• Experience in housing-related support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Workers in delivering tenancy management and health and wellbeing workshops.
• Carry out health and safety and wellbeing checks within the scheme.
• Address additional needs of customers and build community links.
• Engage with a diverse range of customers to manage disputes or conflicts.
