Job summary

West Lancashire Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic indi vidual to join the Independent Living team to help residents live independently and access essential services.

You should have experience with older people and be a strong communicator with solid IT skills.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our Independent Living team, someone who shares our commitment and motivation to make a difference. Ideally you will have experience of working with older people and understand their needs.

With constantly changing priorities you will be self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and able to demonstrate a proven track record of dealing with customers, ideally in a social housing environment. You should be a great communicator with excellent IT skills, which you will need to help provide an excellent and efficient service.

In a busy and challenging environment, you will provide a range of housing support services that enable residents to remain living independently in their homes; and will link with local services to prevent social isolation and promote health and wellbeing.
