BBS Recruitment is recruiting a Scheduler for our client based in Croydon. The role focuses on scheduling repairs, coordinating contractors, and managing appointments to meet service standards.

Ideal candidates will liaise with tenants and internal teams, prioritise urgent repairs, and maintain records of activity across housing and repairs systems. Based in Croydon, this on-site position supports a high-quality repairs service.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate responsive repairs, maintenance and planned works.
• Allocate jobs to contractors and maintenance operatives based on availability, location, skills and priority.
• Manage and update appointments, ensuring works are scheduled within agreed timescales and service standards.
• Liaise with tenants to arrange suitable appointments and provide updates on repairs.
• Communicate regularly with contractors, operatives and internal teams regarding outstanding and completed works.
• Monitor repair requests and follow up on overdue or incomplete jobs.
• Deal professionally with customer queries and complaints, providing accurate information and appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, appointments and contractor activity using relevant housing or repairs management systems.
• Prioritise emergency, urgent and routine repairs appropriately.
• Ensure tenants are kept informed of any changes or delays to scheduled works.
• Support the effective delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused repairs service.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across housing, property and maintenance teams.
