Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Scaffolding Learning Coach to support apprentices on the Level 2 Scaffolding Standard in Wythenshawe. This permanent role includes coaching, mentoring, tutoring and assessing learners across classroom, workshop and workplace delivery.

You will manage caseloads, deliver engaging sessions, and develop personalised learning programmes while ensuring progress and end-point assessment readiness.

Qualifications

• Relevant scaffolding sector experience and Level 2 qualification or above.
• Delivery of coaching, training or assessment that meets learner needs.
• CISRS competence to teach as a Level 2 scaffolding instructor is desirable.
• Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or willingness to undertake them.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to engage learners.
• Understanding of apprenticeship delivery and end-point assessment requirements.
• Coaching/teaching/assessment qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, CTLLS, DTLLS, TAQA, A1, D32/33) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of scaffolding apprentices with coaching and learner interventions.
• Deliver engaging training in classroom, workshop, and workplace settings.
• Develop individualized learning programmes covering skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Monitor progress, reviews, evidence of achievement, and off-the-job training.
• Collaborate with employers and line managers to support learner development.
• Prepare learners and employers for end-point assessment.
• Provide marking, feedback and support to help learners achieve qualifications.
• Work with quality assurance to produce progress reports and learning materials.
