Job summary

The UK apprenticeship provider is seeking a passionate Scaffolding Learner Coach to join their growing team in Manchester. You will coach, mentor and assess learners toward the Scaffolding Level 2 standard, delivering knowledge in both classroom and workplace settings.

You will embed maths and English into delivery, manage your own diary, provide constructive feedback with evidence for Ofsted and funding requirements, and build strong relationships with employers to support learners through

Qualifications

• Extensive scaffolding experience required, ideally in teaching or training roles.
• Ability to deliver coaching and mentoring to learners effectively.
• Capability to embed maths and English into delivery to help learners pass exams.
• Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, mentoring and assessing learners toward Scaffolding Level 2 standards.

Scaffolding Learner Coach

up to £47250 Permanent Full Time

35 hours per week (inc car allowance 35 days holidays (plus bank holidays) to start rising to 40 after year 1, support, CPD, induction, IT Kit, eye tests, Long serve rewards, plus 3 days Xmas shut down and 3 wellbeing days inc birthday off, Xmas Eve and 1 in academic Term 3) progression opportunities and much more

Responsible for coaching, mentoring, tutoring and assessing students on the Scaffolding Level 2 standard

Permanent Full Time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

One of the UK's leading apprenticeship providers is looking for a passionate Scaffolding Learner Coach to join their growing team.

The Learning Coach will support the apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to be demonstrated within the apprenticeship. This will consist of coaching and mentoring sessions, knowledge delivery out in the workplace. You will work closely with other Learning coach's to ensure that the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom will be embedded in the workplace. You will take part in discussions with employers to build good relationships and be involved in updating all parties on the apprentice's journey through progress reviews. You will be expected to embed maths and English into your delivery to ensure that learners that do not have the required level of Functional skills or equivalent can pass the exams.

• Take responsibility for planning and managing your own diary effectively.
• Provide constructive feedback and capture evidence for learning, achievement, and compliance with Ofsted and funding requirements.

• Extensive scaffolding experience, ideally from working in the industry and/or with a training provider.
• Someone who loves sharing knowledge and teaching and wants a role that combines fieldwork with learner support.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workload effectively.
• Desirable: Teaching, Coaching or Assessor qualifications (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33).
