Job summary

South East Water is seeking a SCADA Systems Analyst to ensure the Prism SCADA infrastructure is available, secure, and evolving with operations. You will bridge operational requirements and system performance, guiding the full lifecycle from GUI development to outstation protocol research, while collaborating with engineering teams.

Across multiple sites you will minimise downtime, manage configurations, and implement IT security-aligned patching.

Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA GUI development and operator-focused interfaces.
• Strong experience administering SCADA database servers.
• Proven ability to program outstations/RTUs per technical specs.
• Comfortable diagnosing hardware-to-software interface issues.
• Experience bridging OT and enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Prism SCADA GUI to improve operator visibility.
• Administer Enterprise SCADA database servers and outstation programs per specifications.
• Minimise downtime by rapid-response troubleshooting for GUI and outstation software.
• Maintain patching regimes for Enterprise SCADA servers in line with IT security.
• Serve as technical liaison between Engineering and third-party contractors.
• Research and develop next-generation outstation interfaces and data gathering.
• Provide multi-site technical leadership with remote diagnostics.
• Manage third-party support contracts and reporting to Systems Manager.
• Support NIS CAF submissions with evidence gathering and alignment to standards.
