Job summary
Thames Water is seeking a Site SCADA Engineer (Waste) to maintain and enhance site-based SCADA systems across our wastewater operations estate. You’ll ensure high availability, resilience and security while troubleshooting faults in SCADA, HMIs, PLCs and communications infrastructure.
Join a team delivering major OT improvements and transformation programmes, with hybrid working at Crossness, 36 hours per week, and an on-call rota.
Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA, HMIs, PLCs and industrial automation environments.
- Exposure to large-scale OT environments is beneficial.
- Experience translating operational needs into practical OT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance site-based SCADA systems across wastewater operations.
- Ensure high availability, resilience and security of OT systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in SCADA, HMIs, PLCs and networks.
- Deliver upgrades, patches and reliability improvements.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Collaborate with operations to identify improvement opportunities.
