Job summary
Thames Water is seeking a Waste Site SCADA Systems Engineer to maintain and enhance site-based SCADA across our wastewater operations. You will ensure system availability, security and reliability, and support major OT projects.
You will work with AVEVA System Platform/Wonderware, FactoryTalk View and Iconics, collaborating with operations teams to identify improvements and drive cybersecurity best practices. Hybrid role with a base in Guilford.
Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA, HMIs and PLCs in industrial environments.
- Knowledge of AVEVA System Platform/Wonderware, FactoryTalk View or Iconics.
- Ability to troubleshoot critical operational systems and support OT resilience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance site-based SCADA systems across wastewater operations.
- Ensure high system availability, resilience and security at sites.
- Troubleshoot faults in SCADA, HMIs, PLCs and communications.
- Deliver upgrades and patches to keep systems secure and reliable.
- Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
