Job summary

VE Ltd is seeking an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant (SC/DV Cleared) in Maidenhead, United Kingdom. You will own second/third line HCM incidents and lead payroll-related fixes, while assessing Oracle quarterly releases and implementing legislative updates.

You will design HCM configurations, gather requirements, and ensure proper security role management. The role involves collaboration with HR leads, documenting changes, and contributing to knowledge repositories.

Qualifications

• Deep Fusion HCM functional experience including Core HR, absence, payroll and time and labour.
• Working knowledge of UK payroll rules and the calendar tied to them.
• Experience supporting a live Oracle Cloud service with real users.
• Ability to gather requirements and write clear specifications.
• Solid understanding of Fusion security concepts: roles, data access, segregation of duties.
• Familiarity with OTBI or BI Publisher for HR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own second and third line HCM and payroll incidents through to fix, especially around payroll runs and year end.
• Assess quarterly Oracle releases for HCM updates, tests, and user warnings.
• Implement annual legislative payroll updates.
• Design and build HCM configuration changes, from quick fixes to larger sprint work.
• Collaborate with HR product owners to translate ideas into clear requirements and assess scope.
• Understand security roles and coordinate with access specialists for changes.
• Create test evidence (regression via Tosca) and capture configuration with ConfigSnapshot.
• Provide documentation and contribute to knowledge management repositories.
