Job summary

VE3 is a technology and business consultancy delivering Oracle Payroll solutions for secure environments in the UK. The role focuses on development, configuration, integration and ongoing improvement of Oracle Payroll within a compliant client setting.

You will work with payroll specialists, business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions, ensure accurate payroll changes, thorough testing and maintainable configurations. Current SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle Payroll experience in Fusion Cloud HCM or E-Business Suite HRMS/Payroll.
• Strong SQL skills for reporting, data analysis and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of UK payroll (PAYE, NI, pensions, HMRC reporting).
• Experience with integrations between payroll and HR/finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyse payroll requirements and produce functional specs and designs.
• Configure and enhance Oracle Payroll elements, balances and rules.
• Develop and maintain integrations with HR, finance, pensions, and third parties.
• Build and support payroll reports, extracts, and reconciliation outputs.
• Investigate payroll issues and drive fixes with data validation.
• Assist data migration, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
• Lead unit and integration tests and support UAT and parallel runs.
• Assess Oracle updates and controlled production deployment impacts.
• Collaborate with payroll teams during critical periods and incident resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment instructions.
