Job summary

VE3 in Maidenhead is seeking an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant (DV Cleared) to own HCM and payroll incidents and manage quarterly Oracle releases. The role requires strong Fusion HCM experience, UK payroll expertise, and hands-on work with Oracle Cloud, OTBI, and BI Publisher.

You will design HCM configurations, capture requirements, and ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing. A supportive team environment and opportunities for evolution accompany a DV-cleared project.

Qualifications

• Deep Fusion HCM functional experience including Core HR, absence, payroll, time and labour.
• Knowledge of UK payroll rules and the calendar.
• Experience supporting a live Oracle Cloud service with real users.
• Ability to gather requirements and write them clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own second and third line HCM and payroll incidents through to fix, around payroll runs and tax year end.
• Assess quarterly Oracle releases in HCM: enablement, testing, and user warnings.
• Implement annual legislative updates that payroll depends on.
• Design and build HCM configuration changes, from quick fixes to larger work packages.
• Collaborate with HR product owners to turn ideas into clear requirements and assess scope.
• Understand Fusion security concepts: roles, data access, segregation of duties.
• Build test evidence (regression automated in Tosca) and capture configuration with ConfigSnapshot.
• Hand changes over with proper documentation and knowledge articles.
