Job summary

VE3 in Maidenhead, United Kingdom is seeking an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant (SC/DV Cleared) to join our services team. You will own second and third line HCM and payroll incidents, especially around payroll runs and year end, and translate HR needs into clear requirements.

You will assess quarterly Oracle releases for HCM implications, implement legislative updates, and design configuration changes. Knowledge of Fusion security and OTBI reporting will help you succeed in this client-facing

Qualifications

• Extensive HCM functional experience across Core HR, absence, payroll, and time & labour.
• Knowledge of UK payroll rules and payroll calendar.
• Experience supporting Oracle Cloud with live users.
• Ability to gather and document requirements clearly.
• Understanding of Fusion security: roles and data access.
• Familiarity with OTBI or HR BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own second and third line HCM and payroll incidents through to fix.
• Assess Oracle releases for HCM changes and testing needs.
• Implement annual legislative payroll updates.
• Design and build HCM configuration changes in sprints or work packages.
• Collaborate with HR product owners to translate ideas into written requirements.
• Understand Fusion security roles and access controls.
• Build test evidence and document configuration with ConfigSnapshot.
• Deliver proper handover: documentation and knowledge articles.
