Job summary

Octopus Computer Associates is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect to lead architecture and design for ITOM initiatives within a large enterprise. The role requires active UK SC clearance and is structured for 60% on-site work in Preston, with remote options available.

You will define technical architectures for Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management and Cloud Discovery, ensuring secure, scalable integrations with monitoring tools and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have active UK SC clearance and be a sole UK national.
• 60% on-site work setup; on-site in Preston with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and solution design for ServiceNow ITOM implementations.
• Define technical architecture for Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management, Cloud Discovery.
• Provide governance across ServiceNow delivery teams and design secure, scalable integrations with third-party tooling.
• Support estimation, planning and solution approvals; collaborate with customer stakeholders on requirements and roadmaps.
• Ensure CMDB design supports service visibility and operational reporting; provide technical leadership to teams.
• Contribute to bid responses and client presentations as required.
